Terms of Service

When you book a session at adotstate, you are purchasing studio time and engineering assistance during the scheduled session.

adotstate focuses on vocal recording for rap, hip-hop, and related music. Mixing and mastering are not included in ordinary booked studio time and are not promised as part of your session unless separately arranged.

Studio sessions are time-based. You are responsible for how you use your booked session time, and the engineer controls the technical recording process. When the scheduled session ends, additional recording, editing, mixing, or other work may require additional booked time. adotstate does not promise unlimited post-session work.

Music Pass credit is applied first. The remaining amount due can be paid by card through secure Stripe checkout in the app (Apple Pay and Google Pay supported) or with cash at the studio. Some accounts may be limited to a single payment method.

You may cancel an upcoming booking before its start time. Eligible Music Pass credit is returned to your wallet and keeps its original expiration when possible. Expired credit is not refunded.

Music Pass credit is tied to your account, usable toward eligible bookings, not redeemable for cash, not transferable, and expires 12 months after activation. Your wallet balance will never be negative.

adotstate does not guarantee a particular artistic, commercial, streaming, career, mix, or recording result. The engineer will provide the services described for the booked session, but creative results depend on many factors, including the performance, source material, available session time, and customer decisions. This section does not limit any consumer rights required by applicable law.

adotstate operates as a private, membership-based studio service. Access to the studio and use of the app are privileges subject to these Terms. adotstate may suspend, restrict, or terminate studio access or account access when necessary because of:

• •Violations of these Terms
• •Repeated missed appointments
• •Abusive or disruptive conduct
• •Fraudulent activity
• •Payment issues
• •Misuse of the service
• •Safety concerns
• •Other serious policy violations

This section does not take away any rights protected by applicable law.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse bookings and to suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You are expected to behave reasonably and respectfully toward the engineer, staff, other customers, and guests.

Serious misconduct may result in termination of the session or suspension or termination of access, including:

• •Threats, harassment, or violence
• •Disruptive behavior
• •Intentional damage or interference with studio equipment
• •Repeated policy violations

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and should not allow unauthorized people to use your account. Accounts, Music Pass credit, and other account benefits may not be transferred unless adotstate explicitly permits it. Notify adotstate if you believe your account has been compromised.

Finished songs are delivered privately to your account. Vocal Vault storage is not guaranteed to remain available permanently. Customers are responsible for downloading and securely backing up their finished songs after delivery.

adotstate may archive or remove files because of storage limits, account closure, technical issues, policy changes, inactivity, or other business reasons. Files may remain available for an unspecified period, but continued availability is not guaranteed. The studio does not guarantee lifetime storage, and Vocal Vault is not a permanent cloud-backup service.

Customers may also choose to copy an eligible Vocal Vault song to their own Google Drive. That backup is optional and customer-initiated. Once the copy is created in the customer's Google Drive, its continued availability is controlled by the customer's Google account, Drive storage, and Google's services rather than by Vocal Vault.

Account suspension, closure, or deletion may result in loss of file access. Loss of access to an account does not guarantee that files can be recovered, and archived or removed files may not be recoverable. The studio is not responsible for files lost after the customer had a reasonable opportunity to download or back them up. The studio may change its retention period after giving reasonable notice.

The adotstate app is not directed to young children. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for any booking made by or for a minor and should be present or provide consent for sessions involving a minor. adotstate may decline to book sessions involving minors at its discretion.

We may update these Terms; continued use of adotstate means you accept the current version.
