Privacy Policy

Depending on which features you use, adotstate may collect information such as:

Card payments are processed through a third-party payment provider (Stripe). Payment-card details are handled directly by that provider under its own privacy and security practices. adotstate does not store your full card number. Music Pass credit, wallet balances, and payment status are recorded only as needed to operate your account and bookings.

adotstate keeps records necessary to operate Music Pass and account-credit functionality. This may include:

• •Credit balance
• •Activations
• •Expiration information
• •Credits used
• •Credits returned
• •Transaction history

These records are internal account credits, not banking or financial account information.

Finished songs delivered through Vocal Vault are associated with your account and are private by default. Access is limited according to existing application permissions:

• •You can access songs delivered to your own account.
• •Authorized studio administrators may access files when needed for delivery, support, maintenance, or administration.
• •Playback and download access may use temporary secure URLs that expire after a limited period.
• •Vocal Vault files are not automatically public.

Vocal Vault storage is governed by the current Terms of Service and is not guaranteed to be permanent. Please download and back up your finished songs after delivery.

If you choose to share an eligible Vocal Vault song with another adotstate member, information necessary to operate that share may be processed. This may include the song being shared, your account, the recipient account, the sharing status, and the associated notification. Sharing remains private and controlled by the existing permissions. Shared songs do not become publicly searchable.

adotstate does not sell customer personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, such as providers used for:

• •File storage and delivery
• •Hosting and technical infrastructure
• •Security

adotstate does not share your account information with advertisers.

Some features rely on third-party services, which may process information according to their own privacy policies. Services currently used by adotstate include:

• •Stripe, for card payment processing
• •Twilio, for SMS notifications
• •Google, for sign-in, optional calendar sync, and customer-initiated Google Drive backups
• •Printful, for merchandise order fulfillment
• •Base44, for hosting, file storage, and email delivery

If you choose Save to Google Drive in Vocal Vault, Google asks you to authorize the limited Drive permission needed to create that backup. adotstate uses the resulting short-lived Google authorization only to copy the selected song to your Drive and does not store that Google access token as a permanent credential.

When you use the public YouTube to WAV converter, your video link is sent to YouTube for public metadata and to an external audio service through RapidAPI to prepare the source audio. The WAV is created in your browser and is not uploaded to Vocal Vault. The source provider may temporarily store the audio under its own policies. To manage free usage and prevent abuse, we keep request timestamps and a daily keyed hash of the connection address; these usage records do not contain raw IP addresses, video titles, video URLs, or audio files.

Your account is protected through the authentication systems used by the app, including email and password and Google sign-in where available. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials. adotstate uses reasonable technical and administrative safeguards appropriate to the services being provided, but no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that data will never be lost or that the service can never be compromised.

Different types of information may be retained for different periods depending on account status, booking history, business requirements, legal obligations, fraud and security prevention, Vocal Vault retention policies, and technical requirements. Vocal Vault storage is governed by the current Terms of Service and is not guaranteed to be permanent. Except where specific periods are required by law or stated elsewhere in our policies, adotstate does not publish fixed retention periods.

You can delete your account and personal data at any time. Do it directly inside the app from My Account → Security → Delete account, or visit our Account & Data Deletion page for full details and a no-sign-in request option. Deleting your account removes your profile, profile photo, and uploaded files where legally permitted, and may result in loss of account access, Vocal Vault access, and account-specific features. Booking, payment, transaction, fraud-prevention, tax, and legal records may be retained for the period required by law, with personal details replaced by “Deleted User.”

You may be able to:

adotstate may send service-related notifications such as booking confirmations, booking reminders, account notifications, song-delivery notifications, song-sharing notifications, and important service or policy messages. Depending on the current system, these may be delivered through in-app notifications, email, or SMS. Essential service notifications are separate from any optional marketing communications.

The hosting platform may collect basic technical and diagnostic information, such as device or browser information, app activity, and error information, as needed to maintain the service, fix problems, and keep it secure. On the website, tool events may record converter visits, conversion requests, successful WAV creation, download requests, and errors. These custom converter events do not include the video URL, title, filename, or your account information.

adotstate uses browser storage and authentication tokens to keep you signed in, maintain security, and remember preferences. The website also uses Google Tag Manager with analytics and advertising tags, which may measure visits and activity and support remarketing through Google and Meta. Cookies and similar identifiers may be used according to your browser and the relevant service’s settings. Advertising tags are disabled in the installed native mobile apps. Browser privacy settings and content blockers can limit website tracking.

The adotstate service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for any booking made by or for a minor. The specific under-13 threshold requires confirmation against the prior adotstate policy.

Personal information may be associated with content you provide or create through the service, including artist names, songs, audio files, booking-related materials, and shared songs. This Privacy Policy describes how associated personal information is handled; it does not change who owns your music. Copyright ownership is separate from privacy treatment.

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal requests, protect customers or the studio, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce the Terms of Service, or protect the security of the service.

adotstate may update this Privacy Policy when the service or privacy practices change. Continued use of adotstate means you accept the current version.
